AMOR umbrella recognizes the sacrifice of children of deployed National Guard, deployed Reserve, or post 9/11 combat-injured service members and we are proud to donate a portion of the profits from all of our espresso Coffee to fund extracurricular activities in the community that build the child’s self-confidence, enhance family wellness, and strengthen a shared sense of community.

THE NEED

Extracurricular activities like sports and the arts that helps military children cope with stress and build self-confidence. Research conducted by Our Military Kids nonprofit measured the negative impact of military service on children’s psychological, social, and academic wellbeing is well documented. Nearly two thirds of the children surveyed were impacted psychosocially as a result of their service member’s deployment (64%). Resulting in commonly experienced symptoms were crying or depression (35%), acting out or aggression (31%), and attention difficulties (29%).
