Currently the only way to buy AMOR umbrella products is through our website here (AMORumbrella.com). We do offer easy returns and exchanges though, with free shipping both ways within the United States. International returns and exchanges just need to cover shipping costs.

Check out our reviews page for unbiased reviews on all the gear. If you’ve purchased something and have something to say about it, feel free to add your voice as well! You can also see reviews for each individual product on the product pages themselves.

We are based in sunny Miami, FL.

As long as your order hasn’t yet shipped (we usually ship same or next day) we can definitely accommodate changes and cancellations. Sometimes, even if you’ve received an email that your order has just shipped, we’re able to dig through the packed up orders to pull yours out before it’s picked up by the carrier, in which case we can change it or cancel it if needed. As long as your order isn’t already on its way, shoot us an email (cancel@amorumbrella.com) and we’ll see what we can do!

If your order is already in transit, returns and exchanges are no problem (see How do I return or exchange? – U.S. orders or How do I return or exchange? – International orders).

Absolutely! We offer digital gift cards here. Purchasing this digital gift card creates a code as unique as you. The lucky guy or gal can then enter this code at checkout to subtract the gift card value from their order total. After checkout, you’ll receive an email with your code. This gift card is nonrefundable and never expires. Thanks for sharing the love!

When we ship your order we’ll send you a separate email with a tracking number to track your order. You can also log into your account and click on an order to see its status, or go to track.amorumbrella.com to look up the status of an order.

*Please note that the tracking can sometimes take a few days to be updated. If it looks like it’s not moving, chances are it is on its way!

Please check your front porch, side door, back porch, garage area, bushes, and mailbox to make sure it’s not hiding or jammed. Also, ask your neighbors if they may have received it for you.

We ask that you wait a few days after your scheduled delivery date for the package to turn up. We know that’s a pain but most of the time lost packages are located and delivered within 3 days (and 3 days waiting by the door is a lot less hassle than going back and forth with us, putting a claim in with the mail service, and then having to ship a duplicate package back if it shows up).

If your package still hasn’t turned up after 3 business days, please email us so we can track the package and get your items to you. If you don’t have a few days to wait, let us know and we’ll do what we can to help if it’s an emergency.

Uh oh, looks like we’ve made a mistake – so sorry about that! The quickest way to resolve this issue and get what you actually ordered is to create an exchange through our self-service returns portal. Just select “item is damaged” and that you’d like to exchange it, and the system will issue you an instant credit and place a new order for the item you choose. We’ll then go ahead and ship it asap.

You’ll pay in full at checkout just as normal and an estimated date for when it will be back in stock and available to ship is listed on the product page. As soon as we have the item back in stock we’ll ship it out to you at which point you’ll receive an email letting you know it’s just been shipped, along with your tracking information. We really appreciate your patience!

If an item is on pre-order, the button to normally add the product to your cart (on the product page) will instead say “pre-order now”. You’ll also see a message right above that in capital letters advising you that the product is on pre-order, with an estimated time frame when it will be available again and ship. It will look something like this:

Our default is to split your order to send the available items immediately and the pre-ordered items when available if your shipping address is within the United States. If you’ve ordered internationally, we’ll hold your order and wait to ship everything all together. However, when you checkout you’ll see a note in your cart asking if you ordered an item on pre-order if you’d like us to wait to ship your whole order together to minimize impact. If this is the case, just let us know if the provided text box and we’ll make that happen. If anything changes and you need help, just send us a message or reach out to us at hello@amorumbrella.com.

If your order contains a pre-ordered item and your address is not within the United States, we’ll hold your order and wait to ship everything all together till your pre-ordered item is available. This is so we can minimize the impact of shipping long distances and simplify customs with one package instead of two.

For every product on pre-order, there is a message on its product page with an estimated ship date. When you place your order, take note of that date as that’s our best estimate at that time. Our inventory arrives on a rolling basis, so that message gets updated as time progresses (don’t be alarmed if it has been updated with a later time frame than when you placed your order, that message is for new orders). The sooner you put in your order, the sooner your pre-order will ship. In most cases, we’ll be able to ship your pre-order within a month of receiving your order, sometimes much sooner, and sometimes it will be a bit longer. Know, though, that we’re working hard to get you your items as soon as possible and we really appreciate your patience!

If you need a more specific time frame or are worried it won’t arrive by a certain date, you can send us a message (hello@amorumbrella.com.) and we’d be happy to help you out however we can.

Some of our items sell through very quickly, so allowing you to pre-order an item rather than wait till it’s back in stock to purchase it is our way of letting you get in line and ensure you’ll receive it as soon as possible before we sell out again. We work hard to keep things in stock as much as possible, but as a small company that is quickly growing, demand can be tough to predict. We really appreciate your patience and thank you for your support!

Sales, Discounts and Promotions

Thanks for reaching out! We actually don’t run any conventional promotions, sales, or first-time order discounts and instead try to price our gear as affordably as we can 365 days a year. That way, no matter when you shop with us, you know you’ll get the same price year-round (no pressure to buy anything you don’t need) and we can offer our gear as affordably as possible to anyone who wants to advocate for our cause tracks. That being said, we do have a referral program with a discount ($10 off) reward for spreading the word about AMOR umbrella to your community (we justify this out of our advertising budget). Shipping

Yes, we ship worldwide but have some restrictions for shipping to the UK (see more about that here – Do you ship to the UK?).

Please be aware that you may be liable for import duties, customs and/or taxes which may be due at the point of, or after delivery. We don’t have any control over any duties, customs and taxes levied by the country your order is being shipped to. Since these fees are not computed nor applied to orders by us, please contact your local customs office to find out more information if you are unsure of the charges.

We do! However, we’ve had to put a limit of $200 USD, or around 135GBP in place for shipping to the UK because of the new Brexit rules that began on January 1st, unfortunately. Any orders under 135GBP now require us to collect VAT at the time of sale and remit it to the UK government periodically, which requires more set up, registration and logistics. As of now, we’re not yet set up for that so have restricted orders to only those that are over $200 USD, or around 135GBP (these are still subject to old rules with customs/VAT due upon delivery) so that nothing gets blocked at customs. So sorry for the inconvenience! If you have more than that in your cart you should see shipping to the UK show up as an option in the checkout. Please note we also have free shipping over $250 USD for international orders as well. If the order minimum is too high, going in on an order together with friends or family can be a great solution!

We lovingly prepare each one of our orders for its journey to you using the best packaging materials we can find with the least environmental impact. Each order is first carefully wrapped in 100% recycled, recyclable, and naturally biodegradable kraft paper, and then packaged in a recycled and recyclable poly mailer bag. We stock bags in many sizes so that orders are always packaged in the smallest size possible and never packaged using excess materials. These bags are made from 100% post-consumer and post-industrial material and have a dual adhesive strip allowing them to be reused prior to being recycled. Hang on to it in case you need a return or exchange, or use it to mail someone a fun surprise. It’s a #4 plastic bag, meaning it can get recycled with any other plastic bags at your local supermarket or drop-off location. Our shipping labels and packing slips feature a release liner that is 100% recycled AND curbside recyclable, with recycling compatible adhesive.

Orders are lovingly packaged using eco-responsible materials (see How do you package orders for shipping?) and shipped from our HQ in Miami, FL within the same or next business day. We ship Monday – Friday, excluding US holidays. We’ll email you with your tracking info as soon as your order is shipped.

Once packed up and out the door, within the US, and depending on the speed you choose at checkout (First Class, Priority or Priority Express), shipping time for orders takes approximately 1-7 business days.

International orders shipped through our DHL Express option also take about 1 – 7 business days.

We ship from our office/warehouse in Miami, FL. Many other e-commerce companies choose to outsource their shipping and fulfillment, but we like to keep it in-house so that we can be more flexible with the needs of our customers and have more control over our packaging and sustainability practices. Shipping everything ourselves allows us to accommodate last-minute order changes, handwritten holiday cards, random free gifts etc. We’re also able to control things like how we store everything on the shelves, what labels we print on, the packaging we use, where we source it all from, how much waste we create, and how we dispose of it.

FAQ Gift cards & E cards

When ordering from AmorUmbrella.com, and/or AmorUmbrellas.com you’re responsible for assuring the product can be lawfully imported to the destination.

The recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination. Orders shipped outside of the United States may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient’s country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be fulfilled by the recipient; Amor Umbrella has no control over these charges, nor can Amor Umbrella predict what they may be.

Customs policies vary widely; you should contact your local customs office for more information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.

Note:

  • Customs offices in some countries or regions require the importer of record to provide a particular form of identification before releasing a shipment. You may be required to provide an identification number such as a Unique Identification Number, CPF, or Tax ID.
  • Countries / regions that require an identification number include:Brazil, Chile, China, Ecuador, India, Israel, Peru, Qatar, South Africa, South Korea, Taiwan, and Turkey.Help and Customer S
  • Gift cards and e-gift cards can be ordered in fixed dollar amounts up to $500.

  • You may apply multiple gift cards or e-gift cards to a purchase
  • To apply the balance of a gift card or an e-gift card, simply enter the gift card number and pin in the appropriate fields in the payment step of our checkout process.
  • On a physical gift card, the gift card number is a 19-digit number printed on the back of the card. The pin is a 4 digit number found under the silver scratch-off patch also on the back of the card.
  • The gift card number and pin for an e-gift card can be found in the e-gift card email message sent to you.

Note: if using an Amor Umbrella e-gift card issued before March 2019, the e-gift card number and pin needed will have been sent in separate email messages. Please refer to both email messages to apply this e-gift card.

  • Purchases made with gift cards will be charged applicable sales tax.
  • If the value of your gift card does not cover the order total, the remaining balance must be paid using a valid form of payment.
  • If the value of your gift card exceeds the order total, the remaining balance will be available on your card for future use.
  • Gift cards are non-transferable, non-refundable, and are not redeemable for cash, except to the extent required by law.

We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express®, Discover Card. When your credit card is authorized, funds are put on hold until the transaction is completed. When the order is shipped, the payment is processed.

Your billing information must be exactly as it appears on your credit card statement.If any numbers are different, the order cannot be processed. Be sure to correctly spell city names and avoid using abbreviations unless that is how your information appears on your statement.

Contact your financial institution if you need the exact billing address associated with your credit card.

For your security, Amor Umbrella may require you to enter your 3- or 4-digit card identification number (CID/CVN/CVV/CVC) on certain orders for Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover credit cards. See below for help with credit card identification numbers.

Your Security Code/CID (Card Identification Number) is in the signature area on the back of the card (it is the last 3 digits AFTER the credit card account number). Visa/MC/Discover customer CIDS are 3 digits.

Your Security Code/CID (Card Identification Number) is a 4-digit number on the front of the card, ABOVE the embossed (raised) credit card account number. This number is referred to as the “Security Code.” American Express customer CIDs are 4 digits.

The amount of your order is held on your debit card and the debit card owner does not have access to these funds until the hold is taken off. Holds usually last 3 – 5 business days and may vary with your financial institution.

Online credits are automatically applied to your Amor Umbrella.com order as the first method of payment. There are no codes to remember or numbers to type. Online credit is not redeemable or exchangeable for cash and cannot be used at our retail stores.

Online credits can be issued to gift recipients in lieu of a credit or product return.

Store Merchandise Credit Cards are not valid for use on AmorUmbrella.com. They are redeemable for merchandise only by the original recipient at Amor Umbrella Stores.

Gift Cards are physical cards with a 16-digit card number and an 8-digit PIN. eGift Cards are virtual cards with a 16-digit card number and an 8-digit PIN. eGift Certificates have an 8-digit alphanumeric code sent via email (no longer available for sale).

PayPal is an alternate method for purchasing your order on AmorUmbrella.com It enables any individual with an email address to securely send payments online. With a PayPal account, you can choose to pay with your credit card, debit card, bank account, or PayPal account balance for any purchase you make.

AmorUmbrella.com does not accept personal checks or money orders as a form of payment for online orders.

All payment forms are subject to verification and review by Amor Umbrella. Amor Umbrella reserves the right to refuse to process any transaction, sale, or shipment of orders due to suspected fraud or unauthorized or illegal activity.
