Award-winning Niurka Castaneda, AKA The Impact Architect, is a U.S. Army veteran, filmmaker, author, entrepreneur, speaker, writer, poet, songwriter, and journalist whose work sits at the intersection of storytelling, resilience, entrepreneurship, and social impact.
She is the visionary behind AMOR Umbrella, a Creative Media & Filmmaking Co., where she uses film, journalism, publishing, education, and storytelling to create meaningful connections and positively change the narrative around the experiences that shape our lives.
Niurka was honored as a Military Veterans in Journalism (MVJ) Top 10 Award honoree for her feature story highlighting veteran resilience.
Her creative work includes the book series How to Build the Business That Fits Your Lifestyle , the university-accredited online course New Business Launch Guide, the graphic short story Venture into the Everglades, and her contribution to the Amazon #1 Global Bestselling compilation book The Art of Connection, which earned her a Certificate of Achievement from the Library of Congress .
She is also the Editor of Umbrella Splash Magazine, a Veteran Columnist for She Talks Magazine, and the Ambassador of the 10K Woman Rising International Movement. She serves as the Florida Regional Director for She Talks – Lead and Empower Her .
Driven by her mission to create positive change, Niurka produced and directed Keep On Living, a veteran suicide prevention documentary that uses powerful storytelling to explore connection, hope, purpose, and the realities surrounding suicide prevention.
