Covers over 2,000 Federal Recreation Areas

U.S. military veterans are eligible to receive a free lifetime Interagency Military Pass that covers entrance and standard amenity fees at all national parks and federal recreational lands across the country.

  • Free entry for the veteran and passengers in a single private vehicle (or up to four adults at per-person sites).
  • Access to over 2,000 federal recreation areas managed by the National Park Service, U.S. Forest Service, BLM, and Army Corps of Engineers.
  • Note: Does not cover expanded amenity fees like camping, tours, or parking.

Our official live events feature strategically placed aid stations supplying hydration, electrolytes, and light fuel, alongside course marshals and medical support volunteers.

Family, friends, and supporters are welcome and encouraged at our live start and finish line areas to cheer on participants and celebrate the mission together.

As nature lovers, we are committed to keeping our events sustainable. Our live events are cup-free to eliminate single-use plastic waste. Coolers of water and electrolytes are available at all aid stations, so please bring a reusable water bottle, a collapsible folding cup, or a hydration pack. Additionally, please help us sort trash into our three event containers: Compostables, Recyclables, and Everything Else.

The official race shirt is picked up at the expo upon check-in, and your finisher medal is awarded right as you cross the finish line! Exclusive race merchandise will be available at the expo and finish line area. You can also pre-order or purchase an iTabβ€”a custom engraved plate with your name and finishing time that clips right onto your medal ribbon.

Live results are hosted online for final finisher times after the event is completed. For memories, FinisherPix will capture photos along the course; digital photo packs can be purchased during registration or post-event and will be emailed to you within 24–48 hours.

Packet pickup details, times, and exact staging area locations are sent via email during race week, and can also be viewed in your event hub dashboard.

Detailed parking maps and arrival time recommendations are posted on your specific event page and emailed prior to race day. We recommend arriving 45–60 minutes early.

We partner with HotelPlanner to make booking easy with exclusive discounted rates near key event areas like the Expo, Start Line, and Finish Line. Book early through your participant link to secure the best rates close to the action for a stress-free race morning.

Our events run rain or shine! In the rare event of severe or hazardous weather, event organizers will coordinate emergency protocols, delay starts, or transition elements to keep everyone safe.
